Exent will be offering a new gaming service to Android users starting in February.

Dubbed “Gametanium”, this subscription-based monthly service promises to offer over 100 games, in a way that is unprecedented for the Android platform.

GameTanium will offer these games along with video trailers, screenshots and recommendations, for a monthly fee, and will eventually enable players to enjoy the service across a variety of platforms, in theory starting  a game on an Android phone and continuing on your PC (as one example).

“Gamers can finally feed their APPetites with unlimited play of the world’s best games at their fingertips, no matter where they are,” stated Christina Kuzma, CMO of Exent. “We are excited to introduce the GameTanium service on Android. As we expand multi-platform support, users will be able to enjoy 24/7 gameplay on virtually any device of their choosing.”

I will be curious to see how this works out, but it could change or at least elevate Android gaming as we know it.  Stay tuned.
