Which Verizon Motorola Droid to go for? Droid X2, 3, Bionic?
Choice is not always a problem, but when it comes to spending your hard earned money on Verizon Motorola Droid mobile phones, it is important to carefully pick which one.
At this point in time customers can still choose the old Droid X, which was quite successful. More recently its predecessor made it to the market, carrying the Droid X2 name. Then there is the Droid Bionic with 4G, confirmed but not released; and lastly, the Droid 3, an unannounced handset.
We can jump onto the Droid 3, as it seems to be the more exciting one, having just broken the benchmark for Motorola devices, at 43.9 on GLBenchmark Pro 2.0. Rumours indicate it will become available on Best Buy halfway through the next month. The phone will bring a dual core OMAP 4430 processor, an 8 megapixel camera, full HD video recording, and perhaps even LTE 4G – another 4G device coming soon is the Droid Bionic.
We already know the Droid X2 very well, also coming with a dual core processor, but from Nvidia; a 4.3″ touchscreen display, HD video recording, and all the goodies necessary to make it the upgrade of the original Droid X.
This said, would you go for the Droid X2, wait for the Droid Bionic, or wait even longer to see if the Droid 3 actually exists?
